Cooking Classes

Having grown up in India, a plant-based diet is not new to me. Through my own spiritual evolution, I have learned to eat a mostly plant-based raw diet. Eating a plant-based diet is not a fad. It is something that supports us to sustain the planet from devastation if we are conscious. If you would like to learn plant-based cooking look no further. As part of my diet, I eat plenty of smoothies, salads, juices and of course some healthy cooked foods. Being Indian, I am well versed in using spices to flavor foods. My dad was an excellent cook and while I was a teenager he taught me to be creative in my cooking and you can be too!

Fruits & Vegetables and Their Healing Powers

Fruits contain crucial phytochemicals that are necessary for our body. They have amazing healing power and flush out toxins. Don’t be fazed by the sugar fear in fruits. Contrary to popular beliefs and fad diets, they are nourishing to your body and provide energy. Having grown up in India, I crave for tropical fruits. Some of the fruits I love eating are as follows soursop, mamey, sugar apple, sapote, jack fruit, mango, pitaya, and melons.

Healthy, Clean Cooking

I am adept at creating delicious plant-based food using spices that make your mouth water. I have taught how to make clean, delicious meals that are easy to follow. Many of the people that have learned cooking from me have mentioned how easy it was to replicate a seemingly hard recipe. I tend to expose people to a variety of new spices and vegetables that are not the norm in many American households. Here are a few of my recipes: plantain curry, pancakes (lentil, rice & lentil), lentil stew, eggplant stew, and vegetables/coconut stew.

Cleansing

Cleansing is an essential part of our health and well-being. It is important to give our liver, stomach and other organs rest on a periodic basis. Our liver plays a vital role in our health and well-being. It is important to do cleanses on a schedule. Cleansing supports the immune system, a healthy gut, detoxification, weight loss, blood sugar stability, and protects against illness.

Supplements and Essential Oils

In addition to eating a healthy plant-based diet, I have learned that supplements and essential oils are crucial to the overall wellness. I use supplements to flush out toxins and disease-causing viruses and bacteria from my system. I use essential oils for calming, centering, grounding and for various other benefits. I assure you these are not fads. I myself have had immense benefits out of essential oils.
